At the Laboratory of NeuroCognition (LNC), founded in 1995, we are dedicated to the study of the cognitive, anatomical and physiological bases of episodic memory (memory of our personal experiences) and of working memory (short-term memory in which information is transformed).
We investigate how both types of memory interact with other processes such as perception, attention, cognitive control, emotion, learning, plasticity, and aging.
Study topics that we address through event-related potentials (ERP), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), magnetoencephalography (MEG), eye tracking and autonomic responses.
